Yeah, it's been the most rubber he has come into contact with this series!

What a great shot that was to force o/t, with all the pressure in the world on his shoulders.

the Blues will pick 24 and 26 if both Detroit and Buffalo win their series.
the Blues will pick 23 and 25 if only one of Detroit/Buffalo win their series.
the Blues will pick 22 and 24 if both San Jose and NYR win their series.

unfortunately it was the worst possible of the three. I was really hoping for the 22 &24. Well all I'm really worried about now is that the Wings lose.

Scott Niedermayer sends the series back to Anaheim tied at 1.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems like Kirk Maltby has scored more than 20 SHG in the regular season and 5 (now 6) in the playoffs.

Wow, two, count em', TWO reviews go the Ducks way. This is blowing holes in my Detroit conspiracy theory.

But it is only game two.

What a back hand by Teemu! Of all the Ducks to lose the puck to. Awesome game 5, I hope the Fowl kill the Red Army Dive Team at the Pond. Has anyone else seen a team that gets away with every player jawing at the refs like Detroit? It's unbelieveable/sickening.

Not to mention their falling to the ice like they had been shot with a howitzer every time an opposing player touches them - or - every time an opponent's stick gets above belt level, "throwing" their heads back like someone had give them a 2 hander to the face...

It's no wonder everybody in the league hates those vomit sniffing Redwings..

Except for Buttman and his toadies, Versus, ESPN, NBC, the people that brought you Hell Night, and the on ice officials. Definitely everyone else hates 'em. Including me to the tenth.

They tried to, three PP's in the third for the Wings, yet Jiggy, Prongs, and the rest of the Waterfowl said IN YOUR FACE REF!!!!

I never have loved a Duck so much until now, although it will break my heart to watch another former Blue defenceman/captain hoist the Cup for a home team that is not us.

Was there any doubt in anybodys mind, that in the 3rd period, we would see the Redwings get every call, every break??
Of course, on at least 2 blatant penalties by the Redwings, the refs swallowed their whistles....suprise...suprise...suprise....
Same old script - different ending.

How I wish they would have sent cameras into the Detroit lockerroom, so we could have really feasted on their misery!!

The night couldnt have went any better for me, the Red Wings are done!!!!
Also the pairings for the finals worked out well for me. Before the playoffs started I had a buddy of mine that was going to Vegas put down a couple of bets for me. I took Calgary out west on a longhot and Ottawa in the east.

I have a shot to win a little cash if the Sens win and Anaheim plays the best style of hockey in the league as far as I am concerned. I cant loose if Anaheim wins the team In like the best style wise wins and if the Sens win I make a few bucks.

I will say that Anaheim wins this in 6

I just wonder if Babcock (sucker) will blame Andy Strickland for the loss and try to bully him again.

Ottawa is hot, and put a lot of pressure on any defence. I think Sens win in 7.

If he did, he would be the only bully on the Wings. What a bunch of used jock bags. The Wings emulate their coach; they whine about events out of their control, rather than change the course.

It should be an exciting finals, I like Ottawa's style as well. There also is s shot for some rough stuff in this series. Anaheim will try and force this at times and even if McGrattan doesnt dress Chris Neil can throw em. I say Neil and Brad May get acquainted at least once in the series.

Is Joe Kocur still and assistant coach for the Wings, I dont think he is but Its acrying shame when the toughest SOB on your team is an assistant coach.

I know that the Wings got Griittier in the team toughness aspect but they still dont have a single guy who can fight a lick if push comes to shove.
