Boks were pretty average this morning and Aussie only just got by them. Both of them need to step up big time.

Canada just beat the USA again in their World Cup tune-up series.

Canada won 28-22 last weekend in Toronto, Canada made a fair bit of mistakes but were able to take advantage of the USA's mistakes and also slow-balled a bit for a try. Was a very entertaining game, the lead changed 2 or 3 times.

Canada won again 27-7 tonight in Colorado. Canada seemed to let the USA have possession for most of the game but were able to hold strong and make their tackles (despite being down 2 men on Yellowcards at one point). They didn't give the USA a lot of room to work. Something that seemed very clear was that the USA has absolutely ZERO killer instinct. Canada was able to make more offense for themselves, rather than having to rely on American mistakes.

Also, on a slightly biased note, Canada's crowd last weekend put USA's home crowd to shame!

What does "slow-balled" mean? not really a term we use over here.

Damn, Wallabies win the 2011 Tri-Nations. NZ thoroughly dominated in the 1st half, and their 2nd half comeback was cut short by Kurtley Beale.

Canada beating the Yanks in two tests..

I'm pretty excited for the World Cup.

Not often that the "Old Blacks "get rolled back to back. They are getting ready for their regalar World Cup choke - this time in front of the home crowd

Canada played and Australian Barbarians side ( basically a 2nd XV test side ) on Friday night here in Queensland, losing 38 - 14. I heard from someone there that they played pretty well in spite of the score

The Wallabies win was a hard one to decide what to take out of it. Obviously Australia is looking quite strong coming into the tournament.
But NZ's come back in the second half was very strong. That said, as soon as Nonu scored the equaliser Genia stepped up and the Wallabies scored the winner.

I'm actually hugely surprised the Wallabies are where they are. Even a year ago I was expecting us to get rolled, and now they boys are playing like they could win the thing.

What have the European teams been looking like? And does anyone know how Argentina is looking? They are the epitome of wild card.

I was at the North Queensland Cowboys v Cronulla Sharks game at Dairy Farmers Stadium on Saturday Night and sadly, I missed the Wallabies v All Blacks game (I did however keep tabs on the game via my Phone - thanks to Fox Sports). Cowboys won of course...Yay!!!!!

Some epic happenings on Saturday Night at half time during the Cowboys v Sharks game

Manly v Melbourne game on Friday Night

Dragons finally have a win. About time, I was getting quite nervous

My other team is Wigan, and they've looked dominant thus far in Super League competition.

Yeah i'd say Stewart was lucky to get out of the scrap unharmed. Sad way to end his time at the storm, but looking forward to him going to the Tigers

Manly Prop Darcy Lussick also said it was the best day of his life

His offloading game with Benji and Farah will be really dangerous.

I'll never forget Blair when they interviewed him after winning the World Cup and he's like "I ****in love this ****" and they had to cut away from him straight away.

My Mother went to the Wallabies Farewell yesterday (both my old's are in Sydney this week).

Dally M's tonight. I think it's between Benji Marshall, Robbie Farrah and Billy Slater. I can't see Jonathon Thurston winning it - he hasn't been playing that well since he returned from Injury.

Tariq is a beast for sure but I don't think there's really much of an equation as far as Rookie of the Year goes, it's DCE and then everyone else.

2/2 so far

edit - well there ya go, he was in the "equation" but DCE as I'm sure everyone knew already, 3/3

They're all pretty easy to pick I think aside from center maybe, and the actual Dally M winner.

At least Hindmarsh finally won something this year

Here I was hoping that no player from Melbourne, Brisbane or Wests wins anything....Can't stand any of those teams.

Yeah I hate Melbourne and Brisbane as well. Was a Bulldogs fan before the Warriors came along and just always gravitated to the NSW teams for whatever reason when I was younger. Hated the Broncos for as long as I can remember.

As a Kiwi, I can't hate team Benji

Re Broncos (or the Drongos as my Sister in Law calls them).....

Last year, nothing made me more happier than those brats missing out on the Semis for the first time in like forever. Even when they were in Town to play the Cowboys (im in Townsville), I couldn't care less who won (I usually boo the Broncos so loud).

I was so upset that the Titans (who were my adopted team last year during the semis as I like them as well).

Melbourne....Well I have no respect for any of their players who intentionally injure any opposition player who thinks they are a threat to any other Storm players chance of a rep jersey plus I can't stand their arrogant fans.

Damn I got the captain wrong, though Locky would win on the sentimental vote lol. Got the center wrong as well.

Happy that Mannering was a finalist for captain though

How is Hodges a finalists for the center of the year, everytime he steps on the bloody field he's limping off 5 minutes later.
