Are you being sarcastic?

Constant offside players on the blind that went undetected by the ref and touch judges.

Mcallister send off was a complete joke which lead to a French try.

An undeniable forward pass to Michalak that lead to another French try.

Some games may have had more little infractions let go but two French tries came from screw ups that really cant be argued, nobody can try and say Mcallister deserved to be sent off and nobody can say that pass wasnt forward. But this joke of a ref messes it up and as a result two tries to France.

At least in 99 we were out played by the French in one of the finest performances of rugby i've ever seen. But Wayne Barnes is an idiot.

I have no doubt though that New Zealand came out flat in the second half. They played worse than the night Australia beat them in the tri-nations.

Two colossal upsets. Two choke jobs.

Bah, we don't even like Rugby anyway, right guys?

Awesome seeing England and France go through! Not such bad teams after all.

Gomarsall and that relic Corry had a great game I used to play junior rugby with Sheridan and Easter, it was great watching them. Sheridan was a no.8 back then though and Easter a centre. Also played with Lewsey and Sackey.. it's strange watching an England team with players I knew back then.

Collins did play well, it must be said. Although I still dont like him or So'oailo (who got warned for high tackles tonight). McAlister is a fantastic player, its tough for him Carter is around. But his foul looked intentional to me.. on the replay he clearly looks right at Jauzion and deliberately runs into him.

Evilo - will Michalak take back the fly-half job for the semi final??

Looking forwards to the other games tomorrow.. perhaps it wont be such a walkover for South Africa.

I'm hoping the NZ public dont pull there usual stunt and call for the heads of the coaching staff.

I'm backing France to go all the way now. As long as Wayne Barnes is the ref i know they can

Dissapointed to see McAllisters going overseas, considering he probably had a lock on the 12 jersey (he's never impressed me at 10, he made quite a few poor decisions there in the round robin stages) In fact a lot of our current talent is being drawn overseas.

Howlett and Mccallister. There are others aswell but they arent guys that factor into the all black equation, a few guys that got a couple of games for nz like Tuitupou(sp) and Holah.

The ones that hurt are Hayman and Mccallister. But as always some people will come through and slot in (Stephen Brett ftw)

Wow! thats all I have to say, haven't seen England play like that in 4 years!

France were taking a lot of heat for ending up playin in Wales when they are in fact the host nation. Good for them for beating NZ.

I'm happy with either Argentina or Scotland making it into the Semi's... I'd like to see Scotland to be honest but Argentina would do just fine too.

Fiji upset over S.Africa? Could it be possible? Maybe... Just maybe.....

Semi Finals ?

France V England.....

&

Arg/Scotland V Fiji/S.Africa

I'd love it, but so far it's changed basically every game, so I really can't guess.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha I said Australia's scrum was rubbish and I was right, thank god France beat the All Blacks, im sure they would have beaten England big time but France even though beat New Zealand, I think we can beat them, they are like England in the way that sometimes they are amazing and other times useless.

Love to see Argentina beat Scotland today.

A good weekend of sport, first fll weekend og NHL, England knocking out the Aussie's, Amir Khan still cocky and beat Lawton easily, good fight, only bad thing Hamilton didnt finish the Grand Prix.

Hamilton is a great driver but he needs to shut the **** up and drive for awhile. This guy is a rookie and although is very talented needs to get his ego in check until he has established himself for awhile

Australia 10
England 12

[REPORT]

So, Engerlund, who looked lucky to even make the quarter-finals, defeat Australia yet again! The Wobblies had loads of question marks. I have not yet seen the tape of the match.

New Zealand 18
France 20

[REPORT]

So the poor suffering All Blacks fans world-wide will not be able to celebrate another world cup yet again. They won the first tournament in a breeze in 1987 and since then have suffered a myriad of upsets in every subsequent tournament. I want to see the tape of this one, too.

Up next:

October 7th
South Africa v Samoa (in progress as I post)
Argentina v Scotland

South Africa 37
Fiji 20

[REPORT]

I just saw the replay of this match Monday night. Holy crap! Fiji could have won. Down 23-20 they knocked on about 1m away and followed up with maybe 5-10 minutes left by having a replay call go against them on a go-ahead try in the corner. Their man was tackled into the end zone and could not touch it down. The Boks scored 2 late tries to enhance the scoreline.

Argentina 19
Scotland 13

[REPORT]

I have yet to see the recording of this one. The score does not surprise me. The Scottish reaction does. The figured with the All Blacks gone, the tournament was open for them. Right! They were lucky to get this far. Non-quarter-finalists like Canada, Ireland, Wales, Samoa, Tonga, and maybe Japan and the USA could have beaten them.

Well, England is showing that its forwards who decide who wins the game. They don't care that their rugby is boring as hell to watch, its the World Cup, you just need to find ways to win.

England made France play their game and France didn't adjust. They played smarter and it showed.

Ill settle for that, its nice to see England win and especially nice to send the cheating french out of the cup.

In case it wasnt pointed out, the French were giving Wilkinson sub standard non regulation balls to kick, he missed his 1st two and then started swapping them when they tried to give him the dodgy ones, he then kicked the rest after that.

brilliant! 4 weeks ago, no one gave this team a chance to get out of the first round, and now, here we are in the world cup final. We beat the australians in sydney, and now the french in paris. When SA beats the argies, we should have the final in Jo-burg, we'd be sure to repeat there!
