Ditto on this, they'll get better as a team and learn to play off one another as time progresses. Joe seems like a very personable and likable guy.

Joe is OK, Dave is a former NYR, so Maloney gets my vote.

No brainer. Dave is eloquent, emotional and actually provides good analysis. Joe's contributions usually range from "he's having a strong game" to "he's not on the bench right now". Seems like a nice guy but he doesn't add anything.

It's apples and oranges but I've grown to like them both. The one thing I'll say for Maloney is that he's a bit of a wild card. I love the way he chews the refs and brings up kooky stuff. Tonight he and Kenney commenting on the fact that Dave breaks wind on the air was very funny.

I think Sam was (and still is) always more of a homer than JD. I think in JD's last few years with us (during the dark years) he was always painting a company mandated rosy picture when it was really a bloody mess.

Couldn't agree more!. It's night and day. Joe has been tolerable at times but there have been many times I've needed to mute him. Dave did the Pitt game I believe and was 10 times better. I really hope the right people took notice and make the change next yr.

Dave: more passion, really think he has a better sense for the game, and most of all, he loves the Rangers more

I wouldn't mind JD coming back.

or...

Brett Hull, at least he'd make me laugh

or

Maloney, tells it as it is.

My God,Billy Jaffe takes the cake in the homer dept. How annoying he is! I remember watching the Isles/Devs game(the final game of the season) and as soon as the Devs scored, you hear Billy Jaffe saying,"Oh,no!!!!" over and over again. Geez... Hey,Billy, how about learning the meanings of the words PROFESSIONALISM,and OBJECTIVITY?

That's not to say that Sam,for instance, doesn't have homer moments, but at least he comments on the opposition as well
