Round 2 Tickets

Hey,

Are Round 2 tickets already sold out? Or did ticketmaster not release all the tickets for sale yet? I tried searching even for a single ticket and couldn't get anything for any of the games.

Ah, alright. So if the Rangers lost in the 1st round, would ticketmaster refund everyone who bought 2nd rounders back then?

if they don't play the game then you get refunded the money for the ticket. if you are buying individual game tickets thru ticketmaster you get refunded your money minus the handling charges so you do lose a few bucks.

that refund will apply to anyone that had tickets for game 6 at home also

Now I know I'm getting way ahead of myself here but if the Rangers make it to the finals I might buy a pair of tickets.

So, what can I expect to pay for a ticket at MSG (say 2nd home game)? Are reservations already being made? Is there any priority for Americans or New Yorkers?

I'd like to know prices for both upper and lower levels. Minimum/maxium etc.

Thanks in advance.

More than airline tickets. That's for certain.

400 level for the 3rd round are $52 for season ticket holders. Regular season was 26, first round 38, second 45. My guess is 400 level will be 60 or 65. For the extra pair in the second round I bought through ticketdisaster it came to 60 each with all their charges. I highly doubt you'll be able to get anything through ticketdisaster, if you are willing to pay scalper rates, you'd be looking at probably $1,000 each.

If you go to MSG the day of game 3 (or game 1 in the slight chance nj and buffalo both lose) they will probably release singles. They always hold tickets back.

I live in the Greater Toronto Area so I can't exactly do that and take the chance that I won't get any tickets at all

Based on what I paid for Round One (348 for a pair of tickets in the 300s) $800-1000 a ticket in the 300s for the Finals sounds about right.

Lower level? Mommy, teacher didn't teach me how to count that high.

I heard this too. I talked to someone on the subway on the way back from Game 4 (she used to work at MSG) and she said she got tickets at 6:30 PM after they were cancelled. While I think it's worth a chance if you time it just right, I'd honestly prefer to have my tickets in hand the day of the game.

I'd say $800-$1000 for the PAIR would be about the going rate for 400's in the finals via scalpers. They went for about $300/pair in the quarters, they are available now for under $500/pair for the semis, so assuming they go for $700/pair for the conference finals that would bring you to about $900/pair for the big dance.

Don't know if they'll reach 1000 a pair, to be honest if youre a nyr fan you prolly wanted tickets to first round as bad as you'll want tickets to any further rounds. And while yes people will pay more for later rounds regular people can't afford 1k to see a game and rich people won't pay for nose bleeds. Prices will be what people pay for them...unfortunatly we cannot know this because online scalpers weren't around in 94

If anything, the internet has driven scalper prices DOWN.

You're probably right. I was just trying to say that $1000 each was probably unrealistic.
