Im suprised they called something. Thanks Grier.

Its interesting watching the TSN feed. When Hannan plays it is referred to as "Velcro Like Defending".

How did we not get a goal in that scramble? Just seems like one of those games - we can't get a puck to bounce our way, and the crap SJ throws at the net is going in

because 3 sharks are playing defense instead of 3 guys playing goalie, like we do during scrums.

Despite how much better we've played in this game, at least we were only down 2-1 going into the third.

The worst part is that there's no way Trotz will give Mason a start next game, no matter how much Vokoun has played himself out of chances.

Now Tootoo is playing with Forsberg.

Why does it seem like he's getting rewarded for being the most worthless player on the team?

what is killing me

I dislike the Sharks, but some of their fans have been civil and even insightful at times. I can even appreciate the way the Sharks execute their gameplan. But I cannot for the life of me muster up one single ounce of respect for Ron Wilson. I want to scream every time the camera catches a glimpse of him.

That doesn't excuse it. There's no one else to shift into that spot?

Toward the end, Forsberg got a laser pass through the slot to Tootoo...whose 3 second delay in shot gave Nabby an hour to get over.

But you know that there's not a chance in holy hell that Mason sees any ice in this series.

For some reason, most teams...2 goals, 20 minutes to get it back...it's not impossible...but I don't see it happening for us. There's been too many turning points in this series that went the wrong way. All the chances we didn't bury in the first game's OT, Arnott's misses in game 3...the goal mouth scramble\Legwand fan tonight. In the playoffs, you just have to MAKE those things happen, and we can't seem to do it.

One goal down, I'd feel okay...but two goals, I can't see us overcoming that. I'm not trying to be gloomy, because we've played a good game(minus the penalty parade and Vokoun's antics), but I've gone from anger at last game to depression\disappointment over this one.

I thought they'd at least go down with one win under their belts. I was wrong.

Not out of this, but you gotta believe it is definitely an uphill battle. Getting chances when we get the puck deep and in transition. Nabakov has simply been a wall in nets for SJ in the first two periods.

Gotta avoid the stupid penalties (Forsberg's elbow, Tootoo's whatever - although that was a reputation call set up by Forsberg hitting Michalek from behind at the last whistle) and simply keep working hard at even-strength to generate scoring chances.

Bad luck on the first goal by Michalek. Great play by San Jose to keep the pressure on there, but I guess we used up our luck on the first shot staying out. Zanon with the perfect screen on the second goal, VS broke it down nicely during the intermission. Bad bounce on the third goal off Timonen's skate after the puck is kept in because Fiddler couldn't skate.

Work hard and you get those types of chances...throw enough stuff to the net...it goes in. Let's keep up the battle level and fight hard in this next 20:00.

Many Shark fans don'teven like him. However, his comments can be amusing. Trotz is worse by the way.

Trotz said that Kariya is going to be a force by the time this series is over.

He is saving it all for Game 5. Im glad I have tickets, it is going to be the most amazing thing Ive ever seen!
