Good win, after the slow start. 3 stars:
Jim Vandermeer #1 star (2 goals)
Simon Gagne #2 star (1 goal)
Jeremy Roenick #3 star (2 assists)

Good solid win today, the Flyers definitely needed to get back on track.

I would give my first star to Jeremy Roenick, he was really strong in the third period.

Esche looked pretty solid. The Islanders didn't have a ton of great chances but Esche did his job.

JR was the number one star...his third period turned the game around...nice set up to Vandemeer for the 2nd goal...

I agree.
Couple of scary short handed chances for the Islanders, and a few sloppy passes in our defensive zone. We have to fix up things in our own end a little bit going into this LONG road trip, I think. If Hackett had been in goal, we would have been trying to win it in OT!
