The most explosive staff to have ever graced the NHL would be Roy as the Habs GM with Torto as the coach and Richard Martel and Carbo as his assistants

Book it !!!!!

Torterella, imo, enjoys having the camera on him, and Demers believes that all publicity is good publicity, but wouldn't they be polar opposites as coaches ? I don't see Demers as the tough love type ?

btw, I have a mental image of Jacques wearing his ring out buying produce.

I could only dream of Torterella saying "Get the **** out" to some of the montreal media that keep pushing their own agendas.

That would be awesome. And I also like how torterella plays his best guys the most and not dandouillon for half the game.
That would be horrible. I hate these kind of person.

I thought about Tort in Montreal after I heard his press scrum. It would be hilarious but we know it won't happen. I think Carbo is vocal and pretty open, but he also knows the media (from experience) and for the most part knows how to handle them. I know we like to question why the Habs only get rookie coaches, but what french speaking veteran coach is out there (maybe Hartley?), unless the do what they did when Vignault was here, ie have Dave King as an assistant. So I just don't see how they can avoid rookie coaches. Maybe we should ask Jersey, Pitt and Vancouver how they found veteran french coahes.

You got a point. Tortorella would love all the attention, i'd make him feel like a million bucks.

I don't like his way. Still, he did win a cup. IMO, players won the cup not because of his coaching, but simply talent from goaltending all the way top the middle.

One thing is for sure, he wouldn't put Bonk to start the game.
