You completely change from this thread to the one on the main board..

Your all like 'HAHAH CALGARY U SUCK ENJOY GOLFINGZ!!' in the main one, and you completely change on this thread.

But have fun in the second round, Wings.

The second Detroit started working on their penalty kill they won the series. It didn't help much that the Flames didn't show up for games 1 and 2, while giving up too early in game 5 but that's why it could boil down to one simple thing.

The one person I feel really bad for is Kiprusoff. He deserved better. He really stood on his head for this team, and it's a shame they didn't take advantage of it.
Yeah he deserved better for sure...but the wings wanted it more and it showed on the shot clock.

Ok i gues zithead didn't headbutt kipper....as far as YOU seen..i saw it and it was on the replays..but keep looking through those wing colored glasses...ya's have no chance at the CUP at all this year 4 sure, just like we had no chance...regular season means nothing remember that...

Sorry bout the loss Flames fans. I was watching the game and pulling for Calgary and was hoping they would pull off the upset. They were outmatched for almost the whole series and it really is werid seeing this team go out in the first round for the second year in a row when they were one win away from winning it all before the lockout. Some changes are definitly necessary and they will happen and once there is some more offence brought it to help out Kipper , the Flames will be major contenders again and fight for the division.

Keep your head up Flames fans! You are all welcome over on the Sens board.

Kipper deserved better, but I can't really say I wanted him to win either, I'm so torn. Anyway, better luck next year Flames

It was a pretty close series as it went to the 6th game in OT. The Flames had a chance and that's all you ever ask for in the playoffs.

They certainly played better in Game 6 this year than Game 7 in 06 or Game 7 in 04.

If the wings had to go 6 games against a lowly team like calgary(lol) then what are they gonna do against the rest of the league like the sharks or anaheim? SHould be an interesting 2nd round for sure..

I maybe just a matchup of styles as in boxing. Some styles are better against some, but not others.

Good riddance to Playfair and Amonte.

Bring on the trolls.
Haha, you should see the PM I got from one of the Wings fan that I never even saw or debated with the entire series. They're coming out from everywhere tonight.

But you just made my night with the thought of no longer having to watch Amonte in the Flames jersey.

Wings fan

I've been reading the GDTs here, but I have not repleid, I aslo saw I was quoted and called the Wings main troll, but it was funny.

The Wings win the series 4-2 and the Wings deserve to win.
The Flames fans win the series easily 3-0. Your fans were great, they cheered and helped your team, that's how it sould be. The Wings fans at the Joe were pathetic, as everybody knows it.

BTW, Iginla used to be my favourite player, but since he put the visor on, I have strongly disliked him. He should take the helmet off when he fights.

Dissapointing end to an up and down season. Really thought we were going to pull it off tonight. However the wings were definetly the better team and they play their system well. Kipper stood on his head, but eventually one was going to go by him. Should be an interesting offseason.

You are not the Oilers. Red Wings just were too good for you.

Yeah, given the difference in shots on goal, for sure.
