RJ Umberger Or Niklas Kronwall

If you had to pick one, which would be a better pick?

Does anyone know the upsides of each? I hear Kronwall is pretty small & may never be a steady d-man but he's playin with Lids right now, so thats a good thing.

Umberger isn't playing but I hear he's pretty damn good.

THoughts?

Don't know anything about Umberger but I will comment on Kronwall.

I don't think Kronwall is playing with Lidstrom. Kronwall is usually on the 3rd pairing. He looks bigger than in his draft year. I've seen a few games and I have been impressed. He's a good skater, has good skills and can hit despite his small frame. He looks like a keeper to me. Another thing I like about him is he's not afraid of being hit. IMO, he will be at least a top 4 d-man.

Hard to compare a Centreman with a dman, but Umberger should be a good two - way centreman with good size and offensive upside. likely a 2nd liner...
