What In The Hell?

Was with the Leafs' postgame celebration? It was like an attempt at a soccer celebration. Talk about picking up a big win and the tarnishing it with that celebration.

(Good game though.)

It's humorous. I hope that was the attempt.

The Leafs are playing some un-real hockey right now, but lets see how they play against the New Jersey's and the Philly's of the world.

It's a unity thing.. they started it thereabouts the time they started this hot streak. I hope they do it for the rest of the season.. more wins that way

I think Mats Sundin has them doing that. A lot of European teams do that after winning a big game.

Again, this has nothing to do with their play. They are playing very well. As tough as it is to say that...

But it looks hilarious.

it does look hilarious, but as has been mentioned, it's a unity thing. It brings the team together. Apparently something is working in TO...whoddathunkit?

They beat the Wings and Canucks of the world so I think they can deal with the Flyer's and the Devil's. Not saying the Leafs will beat them but I don't think it would be another 6-0 blowout.

I guess the same reason its important that your flames are in a playoff postion now?

I bet the Leafs stay top 6 in the NHL the whole year.....I don't bet the Flames will come close to making the playoffs :-)

That's all good and fine but it still has nothing to do with the leafs looking like a girls volleyball team celebrating like that.

Who cares. Its unique and promotes team unity. Nobody on the team gives a **** if they look stupid.

A lot of teams do things 'out of the ordinary' like that...like the Flames with their green hard hat thing.

on their current point streak, they have defeated, vancouver (2 times), ottawa, detroit, NYR (3 times). Minnesota, Boston, Atlanta, Tampa Bay and Montreal (playing well themselves)

Not exactly easy teams. We have also tied New Jesey twice (1 game we almost won but they tied it up with 2 seconds left)

and we'll....... philly, I'm sure you know what happended that game

I've never seen a Girls Volleyball Team celebrate like that...

then again I don't watch girls volleyball.

I don't see why it looks funny, they skate out and congratulate each other and *gasp* STAY for a few seconds, rather then the routine tap the goalie on the head and head for the showers.
