Jockstrap question

Just brought a new jockstrap cause of a rash related incident. Thing is it says waist size 30-34 i put it on and it barely fits. Now it only fits if i don't wear anything under such as boxers, i always thought you are suppose to wear boxers, or underwear underneath your jock strap. The only reason i wear one basically is for my socks since they have the velcrow strips. So i was wondering basically is it ok just to wear the jockstrap without wearing anything under it?

Nothing under it IS the correct way to wear it.

I kind of agree. I'm about a 33-34 waist, and I have the medium Itech jock shorts which is 30-34. It is too small, the shorts are fairly tight around my legs and I wouldn't say I'm a huge guy by any means.
