Wow...who knew that Salo's wife was just as susceptible to being beaten five-hole as Tommy!

No more running. I aim to misbehave.

Comrie is he Edmonton answer to Jimmy Carson when it comes to being a prat in the dressing room

"If the Detroit Red Wings are defying gravity" by consistently contending without the benefit of high draft picks, "the Edmonton Oilers are defying lift.

Welcome to Edmonton Connor McDavid--the rest of you HA HA HA HA HA HA

And here's why.

The Comrie family .. are billionaires. I mean, obscenely rich.. Mike Comrie never had to work a day in his life and fortunately for him he can play in the NHL and do what he loves, because he's absolutely got the talent.. but that said, any falling out with Edmonton never was completely rooted in money.. because his family, literaly, could buy the Oilers or any other team in the NHL many times over..

So there had to be something else. I would think.
I remember when Bill Comrie, Mike's father, owned the B.C. Lions of the CFL - took us to the Grey Cup in 1994 after we had the worst record in 1992. One of the best owners they ever had.

He's been a solid citizen in Ottowa this season and is certainly a solid #2 centerman. He will lead the second tier free agents as teams miss out on first tier talent. Getting out of EDM was probably a good thing for him, expectations were sky high and maybe he has matured.
