check out craigslist. that's where I got mine, although I think I'm paying a little bit more than face value. stubhub had them too the last time i checked.
my brother was also telling me that jet blue has a pretty cheap flight from nyc to buffalo. this was about a week ago, so things may have changed.
LET'S BE LOUD AND PROUD ON FRIDAY! GO RANGERS!
(and if anyone sees someone with a Graves jersey surrounded by a gang of angry sabres fans, please pull me out of there or jump in and help. i'm flying solo on this mission)
I'm jealous of you guys. HSBC is a grea hockey arena, and I've got to give props to the Buffalo fans, as they are as passionate as they can be. Don't let all the new sweaters and other gear fool you, these aren't bandwagoners, they just buy anything/everything with a Sabres logo on them!
I went last Friday with a friend for Game 2. We sat 3 rows behind the Ranger bench and it was a fun experience. You could actually see us on tv during the anthem as they were panning for Ranger fans. It's tru e that they buy everything with a sabre logo on it. But the fans are incredibly cocky and were all talking sweep after Game 2. I might go back tomorrow for a bit of revenge. There were probably about 100 Ranger fans last week and most of them met in Section 105 where the Ranger tunnel is about 45 minutes before the game.

i could have told you that by reading this board. i mean i find it funny that if someone gives a honest opinion they start going nuts and calling us cocky. and then of course they point to fischler or melrose, call them idiots, and us idiots for following their opinion (on the rangers outplaying them 3 out of 4 games). even though their opinion is just common sense to anyone watching the games.
to those going(me included) be prepared to get stuff thrown at you and beer spilled on you. also, arrive at the game pretty early and hang out by the Rangers tunnel, where most of the Rangers fans generally hang out(you cant see them until they get on the ice because of the stupid canopy the bring out).
*if anyone wants any information about Buffalo(where to eat, stay, do, stuff like that) just make a post.
Lets be loud and lets go Rangers!
hmm, Buffalo's just over two hours for me. I couldn't make friday (doubt I could get tickets at this point either) but most of my finals will be done by tuesday. I might have to think about game 7, if there is one.
edit: nevermind, I just looked at the prices, no way I can afford that.
