That one is in the same class as that guy who did the "she bang, she bang" song. Absolutely hilarious

That or just change it up a little...

Does anyone remember how they once did it (music during game) with the EXPOS??!!. Each Expos player asked for a specific song(s) to be played when he stepped up to the plate...way more variety, way more fun for the fans.

It was a good/original idea, and even Higgins suggested they do the same at the BELL CENTRE...

Yeah it's pretty good for a guy who's been dead for 11 years.

I know the song and like 10 remixes of it before that I heard of that donkey trash so don't judge it on that.

I disagree, whilst I am a Coldplay fan, I'm the first to admit that all the songs from X&Y are garbage and feel that Fix You is possibly the lamest intro song ever lol, even worse than Vertigo as a goal song

IMO

The old goal song is just as terrible. I'd be happier with a completely new song.

edit: I'd settle for "Les Canadiens sont la".

Guys, it's summer, the Habs' season is over. Why don't you take up golfing or something? Forget about the stupid goal song and live a little. This is so unhealthy!

As stated numerous times in the past, I believe that Montreal should try to innovate a bit and change up the goal song logic. Rather than play one song for the entire team, the song should be player specific, kind of like when a baseball play steps up to the mound.

A few months ago, Komisarek and Higgins had proposed this very idea in an interview. Yes it's a novelty, but I think players would definitely appreciate it and well... things players appreciate can only be good for this team (read UFA attraction).

I know that if I'm a player, scoring a goal is that much more sweeter if my anthem plays on the loud speakers... the crowd would definitely get into it.

I propose a petition/official proposal to the team. Anyone with me?

though it's a novel idea, putting it in practice is going to be tricky sometimes. What would happen if there's a huge scrum and couple of habber's tap the puck in? What about hard to see tips without video review? What about players just being called up who didn't have time to have their own song? Most importantly, what if the habs have bad taste in music?

I can just imagine, saku driving to the net, falling down and tipping the puck top shelf to the sound of numa numa.

It's grown on me and I can't wait to hear it each and every Hab game. It fits as a goal celebration!

The previous goal song was pure cheese.

1) couple of habs in a scrum and can't tell who scored, best guess music plays or default habs song.

2) New players get the default song until they choose one

3) Bad taste in music is questionable. I trust the habs listen to decent stuff... and the marketing team will have their word to say.

4) In the case of a crappy goal... it doesnt matter... that habs scored. Rock on.
