Your club needs more Swiss cheese.

Goran Bezina...
Martin Pluss...

should all play for your club and join up with fellow countryman Mark Streit. think about it, your club consists of smallish speedy players...well, this could bode well with guys like martin pluss for sure.

Pluss plays in the second best league in the world right now and is the top point getter for the best SEL club. I reckon the Habs give me a tryout. He plays centre and is an excellent skater and playmaker. I see him playing 2nd/3rd line roles.

What do you figure?

Great so then the team would be full of Swiss and Belarussians, might as well relegate ourselves to the ECHL.

As long as Cheesy Abby stays as far away from Montreal as possible, I'm all for giving tryout contracts!

Yes, Mr. Pluss, the Habs should give you a tryout...

Isn't Pluss like a skinny Samsonov in terms of size? If so, no thanks.

You mean the same size as Briere or St-Louis? Samsonov's size was never a problem.

No it wasn't, he's very stalky, but 5'8 and 170 lbs doesn't sound that attractive, I guess if there's currently two exceptions that you named we might as well try him out.

I've always wondered why Martin Pluss has never played in the NHL.

For the same reasons that a guy like Briere was put on waivers the league wasn't made for him.

Imagine if Houle had picked up St Louis, Drury and Briere?

I'm guessing he was afraid people would mispronouce him last name. I'm all for tryouts. Of course Streit has to confirm their goodness.

Goal songs won't be a problem. Just have them preform the song Buttons every time we score. The Habs scoring problems will be over, more ways than one

I really like Pluss, he's a really talented player. Blinderbacher as well, although he's tried the North American game and it didnt work. Pluss, on the other hand really could be an asset to an NHL club.
