Better banking company: Scotiabank vs. HSBC

The Senators play in Scotiabank Place.

The Sabres play in HSBC Arena.

Now I ask you....

Which is the better banking company?

If I could vote, I'd vote for Scotiabank.

The Canes won last year because of RBC. Best bank out there IMO.

All banks are equally evil and predatory. Just because they hold your money and/or debts is no reason to give them your loyalty, IMO. Believe me, whatever they may say, they don't care about you. If I had to choose, I'd say I that my hatred of Scotiabank burns even hotter than my hatred of other banks, because they managed to give my team's home rink a name even lamer than "the Corel Centre," which can't even be shortened to something decent. Would it have killed them to call it the Scotiabank Palladium and bring back some of the tradition?

I used to be a customer of The Bank of Nova Scotia. Used to.

I hate them. Worst bank ever.

Ever notice how many arenas are sponsored by banks, insurance and other financial companies?

Bunch of greedy nickel and dimers.

I don't like them as much as you do.

I've dealt with all the major Canadian banks and Scotiabank is abysmal. I don't think there's a corporation I hate more.

I've used the Bank of Buried Tin Can and they've been excellent.

Scotiabank, hands down!!!....... Case in point, just try walking into a branch(HSBC or any other US bank), and exchange US funds for Canadian or vice-versa.......No can DO!! 3 day wait...... Scotiabank, or I suppose any Canadian bank, no problemo!!!

being stuck down in the States until Sept, and a former TDBankNorth customer, it was verrrry frustrating to deal with TDCanadaTrust in respect to the fact that, even though they now own a controlling share of TDBankNorth, I would be charged a fee for using my visa/debit card in Canada. I have since gone with Bank of America, which has a reciprocal agreement w/ Scotiabank.....no ATM fee.

HSBC is the second largest corporation in the world in terms of assets. Scotiabank tellers where kilts.

No ... there kilts.

Just because there are more Scotiabank branches near me, I'm gonna go with Scotiabank.
