Yeah, and how many obstruction interference penalties have been called on the Ducks? How about the entire playoffs? The NHL and its rule changes and standards of enforcement have become the biggest joke ever.

I think that's his point.
He stole this game for the Wings.

If I was an Anaheim fan, I wouldn't be too upset by this loss.

WIngs were outplayed at home and won by scoring two flukish goals.

If I was an Anaheim fan and the WIngs won game two, in similar fashion, I would be upset.
We (the Wings fans) have been begging for about 2-3 years now for the Wings to start scoring "ugly" (lucky, unlucky, flukish .... you name it ....) goals. I am more than happy the Wings won the game by scoring those lucky/flukish/ugly .... goals. But you enjoy complaining.

Oh, now I have to declare how I feel about facts when I state them.

Hell, ya, I was happy about those goals.

But Wings fans who think that we're doing something to earn a goal like Z's goal are living on another planet.

It wasn't a shot. It was a pass.

I believe that's Z's second goal like that these playoffs.

His goal in the Olympic Final was exactly the same. I highly doubt he, or the rest of his team(s) care HOW they go in so long as they count.

But for the not being earned part... if that pass goes through it's a slam-dunk on the other side. Z just has better luck with those passes than Langer.

Even strength the Wings matched the Ducks scoring chance for scoring chance. At the end, when the Wings were PROTECTING A LEAD, the Ducks started to take control of the game and generated some nice chances.

Ducks fans have every right to feel like their team did enough to get a win.

Wings fans have every right to feel the same.(not to mention the fact that their team ACTUALLY WON THE GAME)

I love the way we won. It was exactly the way we were losing in the years past. We were outplaying teams, they were scoring those lucky/ugly/flukish ... goals. When I saw how we won, I was more than happy. I choose those kind of wins any day over the 5-3 wins.
And if you ask me, I would tell the Wings to play all the time those "halv shot halv pass" in front of the net plays. Specailly down low around the goal and in the line with the goal. Those plays are gorgeous and very effective. When Datsyuk pulled 3 players and then passed it to Z, what happened? It was the great play, but no goal. Beauty for the eyes, but no result. Therefore I say, play those high % plays where you "throw" the puck towards the net halv passing, halv shooting and we are going to win. Those plays work in the playoffs, they work specially for us.
I love how we won, they outplayed us, the refs helped them, our goalie faced more shots, but we won.
Go Wings and win all games like that.

I would be perfectly happy if the Wings played 7 more games like Game 5 of the San Jose series.

As long as they win, it's cool. But in a perfect world, I'd love to see them jump out early and then continue squashing them for 60 minutes. Games like this last one make me anxious as hell.

The only mistake was when Babcock played Bertuzzi 4 on 4. We all know that Bertuzzi sucks defensively 5 on 5. And then Babcock fins to play him 4 on 4, when we have our top 4 Dman in the box. Recipe to get into trubble. Babcock has to be very picky when he plays Bertuzzi. Bertuzzi does not play well for us in the defensive zone. He simply does not understand the system/gameplan, or he can't execute it. He is not famileir with the system.

Not really. You need Hasek to handle the puck.
