Which do you enjoy the most?

Scoring a goal.
Getting an assist.
Laying the perfect hit.
Making the save.

Hitting. My shot is weak and my vision is mediocre.

I love scoring big goals or setting them up. I also love dangling other players, my style is finesse. I'm not very big so I can't really make big hits.

I enjoy making the perfect hit the most, and then making the highlight play whether it be a goal or an assist.

I really enjoy backchecking and picking the guys pocket, especially if he's ready to shoot.

I think the perfect impossible pass is always fun too.

Scoring goals I have no business scoring ( once on a penalty shot, the goalie was waay too farr out so when I came moderately close I flipped it over him and in. 2/6 lifetime in PS now)

Play D, I'm god awful at passing so I if I can make a decent pass like most people on here are talking about then hell yeah I would be chuffed with that. I'm 6'1 and 175 lbs - so you would expect at least average hitting from me, but not at all as I seem to have zero technique. Apart from the obvious pleasures, like scoring etc, I would have to say I really enjoy some defensive parts of the game -

Stick checking one of those cocky players with a smile on his face who thinks he will blaze by and own me.

Skating like hell after a player on the other team who has a breakaway and diving to stick check him successfully (always seem to hear the crowd cheer for that )

Blocking shots. I always try do this no matter what... must be some masochistic thing I have going on...

Seeing 'challenged players' score, improve or make a good play. I always let them know they've done a good job - "**** YEAH man you OWNED that guy! I mean I know he can hardly skate but..." etc

I could care less about getting points, and good thing as I don't get many.

Its the feeling of being in a good, close battle and giving it all you have that keeps me playing. Beer taste's best after a game as well.

i think being a part of a great play is better that a nice individual effort. the second pass of a tic tac toe play- or a behind the back- or good drop pass that draws 2 defenders is always amazing.

wAs someone said above winning is most fun.

As for individual plays, nothing better than setting up a teammate for a tap in.

For me it's when I score a goal, assists are great too, but nothing beats scoring in my book.

I love scoring...but I get the most enjoyment out of winning of course like a lot have said. But honestly, my favorite thing is to get under the opponents skin. I like to get in their way and do all the little things- in a clean manner- that eventually make them want slash me or scream at me. I love it cause I know I'm taking them away from their game and also gives our bench stuff to laugh about, heheh.

Yea thats true, I love getting hit in front of the net, got the goalie slashing me 2 defenders take turns trying to shove me. Nice knowing they dislike me that much.
