I met Havlat at Fratelli's in Kanata. He was sitting at the bar alone so I went to shake his hand and I wished him good luck with the rest of the season. He's very nice and shy as others have pointed out. He wasn't alone for long as a hot blonde came to join him soon after.

I've seen Chara quite a few times at Baton Rouge and at the Bayshore Shopping Mall. Only gave him a nod though, but he seems like a really down-to-earth guy.

My ex-girlfriend met Spezza, Heatley and Redden at a restaurant on Byward. Dany smiled at her and gave her a wink. Hehe. And she didn't know how giggly Jason was but she sure confirmed he was when I asked her about it. He's such a (lovable) dork.

Lived in west end Ottawa (Nepean) for many years, but never met a current Sens player.

Used to run into 67s players at Bayshore Mall back in the day....remember a really funny story about one of them and Stuart who worked at Mappins....

Met/knew a lot of older players, none that played for Ottawa tho'.

I've seen Jason Spezza at the Foot Locker in the Rideau Center...he then went to that Banana hair place before I lost him.

I sat beside Teemu Selanee in the Rideau food court at the A&W. He was talking on his cell phone in Finnish and there was some other guy with him...I don't know who though.

My friend is a bartender at the place the Sens just had their year end party.

They ended up ordering $20 000 worth of food and booze.

I've seen a bunch of Sens. I used to work at the Market Fresh in Kanata before it closed. One time I was putting out some milk, and this voice comes from behind asking me where something was. I turn around, and literally was looking into the chest of Chara. I'm 5'9" so he is literally a foot taller than me. One time I saw Alfie at the cash, and I just kept staring at him, and he stared at me. Then we just nodded at each other.

I also met Ron Maclean, really nice guy, took some pictures with me.

I met Don Koharski when I was at a hockey tourney in Montreal when I was nine. I think I told he was a bad ref, which he wasn't too happy about.

Not me but my uncle used to work for a sports shop in Montreal, and actually went to Patrick Roy's house. He said in the basement he had a rink, with that plastic ice, or whatever it's made of. He said Roy was super nice. My uncle got he a couple autographs out of it as well.

The year that Yashin returned to Canada to go to court over his contract dispute I saw him with Carol Alt and an other man (older guy, not Mark Gandler, not sure who) walking down Bloor Street in Toronto.

Alt was filming something in Toronto at the time and I read she owned a condo off of Bloor Street. It did not appear as if anyone recognized them but I certainly did. I didn't say anything but was tempted to say something about his hold out but I didn't.

They walked into one of the boutiques, can't remember which one then the staff of the store locked the door not to let anyone else in. It was in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday. I guess Carol Alt had a lot of pull and they locked the door for her so they could shop in private.

She's very tall and quite beautiful. If you've ever seen her on a talk show she sounds like quite the air head though. just my opinion.

The food is horrible you're right. I don't think I've ever had a decent meal there.

My father in law is a huge Sens fan but he is very much NOT a Ray Emery fan. Why you might ask. Awhile ago my father-in-law was in down town Ottawa and all of a sudden a big hummer cut him off and almost put him in the ditch. He then got a look at the driver, only to see Ray Emery with a big smerk on his face.

My wife also has a story about one of her U of O classmates meeting Jason Spezza while waitressing. The just of the story goes while waitressing (can't remember where) Spezza began to hit on the girl and then ask her out to on a date, she declined. After this Jason had a little tantrum and began yelling DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM, DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM!!

The only player I've seen was Vaclav Varada at Sports Experts in Bayshore a few years ago. Although I've seen Jacques Martin at DQ in Kanata and of course Bryan Murray.
