I honestly don't get where his bad rep off the ice comes from, I sort of can see why on the ice he would get under some peoples skin I guess, but I haven't heard one single first or even second hand report of anything he has done off the ice that was innapropriate.

yup Perry is a turd, no wonder Chelios didn't want to shake his hand, can't really blame him. I almost have more respect for Avery than him.

If Neil was doing his job then there would be a thread on the Ducks board dedicated to him being a ****ing *******.

Perry is being very effective.

Well whenever there is a robbery at gunpoint or an unsolved murder, I guess I usually suspect Raja Bell myself. There might be something to that.

Chris Neil's disappearing act has been the least talked about story of these playoffs. Where has he gone anyway? This should be his time to shine -- playoff hockey should be right up this guy's alley, but instead he has disappeared into the ice. He's hardly the only one, but I'm just so disappointed in Neil because I thought he would really come into his own this playoff year. Guess not...

Here is a graph that describes Neil's level of play vs. time:

\

This can be applied to every season.

It's so true. I keep reading/hearing that he is playing injured, but it's the same story ever year... he just wears down as the season progresses to the point where he is completely ineffective.

Yep, although I can't say I didn't enjoy Fisher giving him the ragdoll.

Put up with that ***** in high school a lot when he went billeted in London. Of course being a hockey player he thought he was better than a lot of people. Thing is, he's not the sharpest tool in the shed, so getting into an argument with him was an easy victory.

Yep^^

Opposing fans and players have hated him ever since his days as a Knight. I remember he was constantly a target then too for his "chirping" and playing style (of course, a lot of it also had to do with him being their best scorer) and so many players would be taken off their games because of it. He's always played on a tough team so by now he's very confident in his "antics."

Maybe he's injured. I agree, Perry is a pest but that's his role.

Physicality is the best way to counter, This is a different Sens team then what I saw in the first 3 rounds.

Man, what a badass mofo!

I found it funny Red Wings fans took that seriously.

"OMG, he told Pavel he was gonna get IT!!! LIKE OMG *** BBQ! WHAT? AND SAMUELSSON TOO? WHEN WILL THE MADNESS END!?!?!"
I can't believe you brought that up. That was the most pathetic scene I've seen/heard. I would be ashamed if I were a Ducks fan because of that. Perry with that girlish voice of his is trying to be tough. Then when little Lebda punches him in the face, Perry rans away and complains to the referee.
There is another very dirty play by Perry. He turned his head and hit Chelios from behind in the neutral zone pretending like he did not see him. Well some fans might buy it, but the players and many fans know when a player pretends and when he really does not see it. This was well noted by many players in the league.
That hit by Volchenkov was a beauty, clean, good, hard, hockey hit. I do not understand how and why the refs called it.

If I was a Duck fan I would not try to defend Perry. There is a huge difference between a player which gets under other players skin and is respected by the fans and a dirty, cowardy player like Perry which will become hated by the fans (no respect, just hate for Perry).

If Neil does not kick his ... in game 3 then ...

Corry Perry is clearly enemy number 1.

Wings and Kings fans know what the deal is.

Game 2:

- Perry turns his back on purpose to get hit from behind by A-Train. Cherry calls him out.

- Perry runs interference on Fisher, and then punches him in the face.
Perry is Chris Neil with TALENT.

Perry always ended up in the Canucks net, all over Luongo, with a "What, me?" look on his face. No one ran Luongo more than Perry. The guy is freaking annoying.
