Time to bring out our secret weapon

Time to bring out our secret weapon

Regular posters are familiar with the Cauldron in which we happily boiled Penguins, roasted Devils and bbq’ed Buffalo. It was a feast!

Now that we are in the finals, it turns out that the Cauldron is ineffective against the Ducks. Maybe it is the warm water that makes them paddle to effectively against our boys, who knows? All I know is that we did not play our usual smooth game so far against Anaheim. We were flaky and they were solid. That is BAD.

Therefore:

time to bring out the Secret Weapon!

Saturday, I will be watching the game in enemy territory, (there are a lot of Duck fans here in the west) so, along with the necessary RED wine, I will bring my “zils” or finger cymbals! Those damn Ducks (and silly, over confident fans) will not know what’ll hit them when we start ziling.

I decided to actually dedicate a tread to the zils because if even half of the fans at SBP bring zils along, it will confuse those damn Ducks long enough for our Boys to catch them. I am aware that perhaps not everyone has zils at home: no worries, bells will do the trick too. After all, if we expect our Lads to give it their all, I expect nothing less from us fans to do what it takes to win these games. The louder the better. Add red pompoms to the mix for visuals and we’ll be back on track!

little cymbals you attach to your fingers. They make a hell of a noise

Like I said, bells work great too

they'd taste it in water, we gotta put it in their Gatorade

For those who don't know, zils are used in Belly Dance.

For those who don't have zills at hand, do you think cowbell would work?
