Removing jersey number

Is it possible to remove a number off the back, it's not stitched though, it's glued on.

I dont know about that. the area would have to be heated up for the glue?

try glue be gone, it might help wit the glue that will be stuck on the jersey.

Steam might release the glue but you will have a mess to deal with. talking like a steam machine not just hanging in the shower.
