Can someone tell me what kind of player Hartnell is? I've read he's a hard worker and isn't afraid of contact. Will he go for the big hit? How overall physical is he?
And I usually see him listed as a winger, but can he play centre? Which position does he play his best hockey?
And one last thing. How much salary do you think he is worth and how much do you think he will get?
he used to be a big hitter/fighter but now he just kinda scrappy and well timed hits here and there. He is a good in front of the net guy and he can skate pretty well, I think he will get paid alot more than he is worth though...

I'm an Oilers fan but I'll take a stab at your questions anyway. I believe he was offered $2.3 million from Nashville but believes he can get over $3 million elsewhere. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I've heard.

Hartnell is a player who is on pretty much every team in the leagues short-list. Anyone with any sort of cap-space, and the need for physicality (and who doesn't need more physical players) will be giving him a call. People talk in the $3 million neighbourhood, I'm thinking he'll easily get $4 million per.

Fiddler will stay, Zanon I hope stays, but after that there's nothing in the rumors stating the Preds will be going after other FAs. Klein will be on the team which puts 5 D men on the roster.
