Yashin out for 10 weeks...

Now that Yashin is out for a very long time I was wondering if Milbury would be looking for another top 2 line center. Milbury being Milbury do you think that he would be interested in Perrault?

To NYI:

Y. Perrault

To Montreal

a 3rd round pick (or a prospect)

Thoughts?

Islanders are trying to dump payroll so I doubt they'd want Perrault's contract.

Plus Perrault has a no-trade clause and I don't think he'd OK a trade to Long Island.

actually Y.P no trade clause was for only the first two years, so he can be traded this year

I don't think Perreault does have any trade value... The guy has lost his place on the second line and get a look at our second line!! Dagenais - Ribeiro Zednik

Don't you understand a little more why I call this guy AHLer caliber?
hes a very slack ass player now i agree pure ahl calibre player now.
but... i think his value is higher then once thought i see him going to a team that needs faceoff help, to better arm them in the playoffs.
also if any trades happen involving the habs i sincerly doubt anybody will know about it untill it happens thats gaineys style, the nyi/habs rumers are a load of shizzite.
you can also bet any player that leaves this team gainey will get his full value in return.

Habs and Isles arent very likely trading partners.

Just take a look at the standings to see why.

I bet if Milbury is dumm enough to take Perrault off our hands the Isles will NOT make the playoffs.
