Ray Ferraro, who should know, said that Brett Hull's short-lived career as a hockey analyst with NBC is over.

If he was let go, it wasn't because of how NBC felt about his performance. They loved him last year and loved the show. My contact at NBC told me last year that there might not be an extended studio show, just because they might be cutting down on any extraneous expenses related to hockey. It's possible that they might have decided to go with a slimmed down two-man group with Clement and Ferraro. I'll ask him and see what he says about this.
