What Is Your Best Canadiens 'Fun' Moment?

What Is Your Best Canadiens 'Fun' Moment?

Let me explain: i was watching a game, dont remember wich team was up here. A forward from the other team is circling our net and BANG! Komisarek freakin' NAILS the guy right then and there and the puck squirts beside the net, almost in front.

The poor forward hardly is back on his feet while adjusting his helmet when all the while the puck is sent right to him in back of the net. The player that was hit sees the puck in front of him, tries to get his stick on it when BANG! (you guessed it..) Komisarek smashes him again.

The play never stopped and there must have passed 7 or 8 seconds between the first hit, the puck being lost in front and being banged back to the forward who lost it and him being creamed for a second time!

His teammates actually escorted him back to his bench. It looked like they were showing him 5 fingers and asking him "What color?" and he was responding "Tuesday..."

So; did you see a hit with unexpected results or
a player tripping on himself or hitting a teammate by error
or a major goof up that made you laugh?

Kovalev. Tucker.

Thou Shall Not Steal.
Thou Shall Not Kill.
Thou Shall NOT **** with Kovy.

The end.

That well placed bionic elbow is what keeps me having hope when it comes to Kovalev. Somewhere deep inside, he really does care. He's not like Malakhov. And you've got to like the way he skated an arc across the ice to get a good swing and angle on Tucker. It looked like it came from Slap Shot.

And the legendary call by Pierre Houde "Brunet qui passe a Lebeau derriere." (Get it?) was good too.

Oh yeah, when I saw Josh Gorges the fun time, I laughed.

And my first comment on him was "He's Frail...eh?"

When Dandenault and Bouillon collided in each other so hard that they became one evolved entity.

Now that he is no longer a hab, watching Ribeiro flail on the ice is pretty comical.

Yeah i must admit that elbow to Tucker's noggin was very refreshing for me.. i was like "..well wadda know: the guy's got a nice junkyard dawg mentality when he wants to" ) otherwise known as 'du chien dans l'nez'.

And the fact that it looked entirely innocent and unpremeditated too was icing on the cake when Tucker got owned!

'Lebeau derriere'... i didnt remember that one!

I remember during a Game, start of the second, my friend was feeling a bit sick, puked out some yoghurt and it landed on Malakhov's helmet as Malakhov is walking onto the corridor towards the bench, he didn't notice and I think someone from the Coyotes said something and he changed helmets ....

for a while there he looked like someone had given him a big Bukake

in the 06/07 season, my favorite moment was when crosby turned the puck over on OT.... plekanec makes the pass to souray on a 2 on 1...... and souray blasts a one timer top shelf.... that was great.

my favorite all time moment is still game 2 of the 93 finals.... what a dolt mcSorely is for playing with an illegal stick late in the game.

During the 2nd round series against the Canes a few years back, when Doug Gilmour was sent to the penalty box. As I remember it (and I might be wrong as it is a looong time since I've seen it), he slammed the penalty box door shut as he was sitting down and the glass in the door and the panel next to it shattered. Gilmour didn't flinch though and calmly got up and left the penalty box while they cleaned it up. I think he got an extra penalty for it as well (as you do) which got him angry.

Anyone got a video of that?

I know, and there wasn't much fun about that. But just that one incident was fantastic. Some comedians struggle their whole lives to get such good timing and reaction to something, and Gilmour made it look effortless. The game as a whole is one to cast from memory as much and as soon as possible, but that little incident will always stay with me.

Wow Komisarek and Souray were on the ice too? Tucker could have got demolished if the refs didn't get involved.

Funny moment:

I think it was against Tampa Bay...

Rivet was coming out from behind the net and out of no where, Perezhogin figure skates in and hits Rivet. They lose the puck and Richards gets it, but Huet saves it.

It's only funny because it wasn't a goal, but it told me that this wasn't Perezhogin's year.

November 15th, 2006 - Check the highlights, it's there.

I think this is destined to become a classic- best moment of the season for me:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oPbzgJT5ZvA

This was sweet too (wait for the close shot at the end):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SfFtG...elated&search=

And who could forget the game earlier this year when the Leafs were leading and then two Leafs crashed into each other and someone (Saku?) got a breakaway and scored. It was like Keystone Kops hockey on the Leafs' part.

Definitely that one for me, if Cube played every game like he did that one, nobody around here would talk about getting rid of him.
