Dave Lewis

All I know is what I've read here and there, but the consensus is that he seems to be a good hard working coach.

Would he be someone the Flyers should look at in regards to replacing Stevens?

They're not replacing Stevens...so no. Especially with Dave Lewis who is living on being Scotty Bowman's stool pigeon

First of all, at this point in time there's no reason to replace Stevens. And should he be replaced, I would rather see Holmgren go to the zoo and pick out the smartest chimp to coach the team than Dave Lewis. We don't need other teams flotsam and jetsam.

If Philadelphia hires Lewis I will feel very bad for you he ruin Chara he wouldn't let him fight or be physical and many young players like Boyes and Jurcina. And he barley played Kessel who would have had much better numbers if he wasn't stuck on the 4th line basically all year.

Take it from a Bruin fans stay away from him or you'll win 10 games next year.

But yea Dave is a nice guy

A million times no. The Bruins' games I saw last year were totally baffling, and Dave had this "Aww shucks, we worked hard, don't know why we lost" attitude far too often for my liking. This is without going into his baffling lineups, continually playing scrubs like Mark Mowers ahead of kids with talent or putting one of top offensive d-men in Paul Mara on the 2nd PP unit or with no PP time at all. The man seems like a nice guy, but just totally in over his head as a head coach. I'm not sure about Stevens as a coach for the Flyers, but he's already better than Dave Lewis, IMHO.

I just wanted to offer a Bruins' fan's perspective on the above comment.

I'd rather see Terry Murray.
