GDT: Oilers vs. Flames Dec 28/03

I've never done one of these before, but the Vancouver game is in the book, so what the hell.

Gauthier misses the game tomorrow, he was suspended by the NHL today.

On one hand....I'm glad because the Oiler knees are all alot safer now.

On the other hand..........I would love the opportunity to watch someone beat the dog-piss outta him.

It makes me smile to see how irrationally oiler fans hate him.

Gauthier is one of the dirties players in the NHL. Yes we hate him as do fans of other NHL teams. He tries to injure players. There is a difference between a tough hitter like Scott Stevens and a dirty ass like Gauthier.

Big difference.

Uh huh. I am sure you being an edmonton fan makes you totally objective about Gauthier.

Gauthier is far from being one of the dirtiest players in the league.

Yawn. You'd love him if he was on your team.

Holy smokes, how would someone get a million posts?? That is insane :O!

Anyways, Oilers versus Flames eh... I'm going with a 3-2 Oilers win. Hopefully this is the arrival of the Oilers team we all expect.

Oilers goals....Laraque, Moreau, and Torres.
Flames goals... Leopold and.. Gelinas.

If I correctly remember the dude is a spammer that would just submit posts that said "hi" or whatever. I've seen him at the "lounge" often, building up his counts with useless posts.

Just a tad juvenile.......

I think Zoid somehow just gave himself those posts, but don't mind him, he's a Scot Nichol fan.

Anyway I liked the Oilers tonight, but I sure can't call them to win

I think the Flames play will start picking up again (its been down of late, seriously) so I'll call a 3-3 tie and everyone goes home happy (well half-happy).

Goals from Isbister (2), Smyth and Regehr, Iginla, McAmmond.

Spring time for the Oilers tomorrow, fall time for the Flames. Where life begins somewhere, life dies elsewhere. The gap between the Oilers and the Flames will tighten tomorrow.

Tonight was a huge confidence boost. Everything that was wrong with the Oil finally clicked. Salo came up huge.

4-1 Oil.

He doesn't really have 900,000 posts!!!

In reality he has about 2000.

I didn't really think anybody was as clueless and gullible as to think he actually had a million posts...

Oh well.

I don't feel good about this game.

3-1 Oil

In reality, I'd like a real good flaming to get some of the Flames players up and kicking. Many of the key gunners have slept-walked their way thus far, and what the Flames could really use is a good pounding, and nothing would irk more than getting pounded by their #1 rival.

Okay then Mr. non-gullable Smarty pants.........how did he do it?

You only need 1 minute between posts.

I'm real intrigued....

(after doing some math....I figured it would take him about 2 years of posting every minute.......me gullable I guess.........didn't give it as deep of thought as flamer boy I guess)

Probably just went into the system and changed his post count. FOTS and gkj had their post counts cut down by a few thousand.

I don't really appreciate being called clueless. I guess you're Einstein or something eh?

You know what we call "flamers" up here by any chance? I'm sure you do......

i see everyone has met our resident madman g2k, ur rite this thread is going to turn good, now just to wait for HOZ or dawgbone to post something that'll piss off g2k

anywyz Oilers get a new lease of life and have a spring in their step and hopefully laraque gets a clue on what he's supposed to do and we eek out a win in an evenly contested game, win by a goal or two.
