hopefully the same emotion by this board is the same demostrated by the oilers tonight. if the oilers score first they win 4-1, if calgary scores first the trap comes on and the teams skate to a 2-2 draw.

3-2 Edmonton. I still waiting for Kiprusoff's bubble to burst. The Oilers will be able to play without the danger of Gauthier doing something stupid.

I hope last night's big win was the beginning of better things for the Oil, and especially for Tommy. Another game like that tonight could give them some momentum... a weak effort could put them back on the skids. Too bad we won't be facing Alex Auld tonight...

The team looked very good last night! Here's to hoping they continue the roll: 3-1 Oilers, Salo's play improves and we score on the PP again. Smyth, Cross and Torres tally for us.

Oh my, you guys are too much. Buffaloed gave me the posts for some reason.

And I'm almost at a million posts... by a good 80 000. I actually have like 1500 posts.

Geez, when I used to look at the Oilers board you all were so nice. Where has all of the love gone? WHERE? All these flamer remarks might actually be hurting the hearts of my poor brethren.

PS - Scott Nichol will live forever in the hearts of true Flames fans. That means start liking him Kruezer!
PPS - Isn't G2K a pop band?

To get this thread back on topic: I predicted the Vancouver slaughter a couple nights ago and I think the Oilers will win this one by a couple as well. Hopefully Salo starts in net, we really need him to get some ice time in and fully turn his game around!

I haven't felt good about an Oiler-Flame matchup since Messier left. Despite last night, their confidence will fold like a cheap suit if the Flames get oout in front by a couple.

It'll probably come down to how many laps Tommy swims in the blue ice and our penalty kill. I assume the powerplay is fixed to the point where it no longer kills the Oil's momentum.

I won't predict the score because I know I'll be wrong. Unless I predict the Flames to win, then I'll be right because clearly that was what I wanted me to do.

Has anybody else lost their PPV signal? Any idea who to complain to? One service number is out of service, and one is busy.

It's probably because everyone is complaining about it.

PPV has been a joke this season. Last game it didn't show half the 1st period......when it came on....there was no sound for the rest of the period.

I had a problem at the begining of the season also.

Does anyone else get the feeling the next (first) goal will be the winner?

I'm guessing Horc has 7 wins, 1 loss on the faceoff dot...

I get that feeling too. One of those eerie nights with posts and pucks rolling wide of an open net.

Sorry that's confusing as hell and makes no sense. 7 and 1.

Yeah because we wouldn't want Calgray beating us again, especially 1-0, what a burn that would be.

so should it be encouraging that the oil are being outshot? They have been shooting like crazy and not winning so maybe this is the night they go 20-34 and win. I really hate those late goals though. Hope they bounce back like last night.

Time for someone (i.e. veteran) to step forward and turn this game on its head in the next 20 minutes.

Paging Ryan.

So with the crappy call by the refs, will Stoll be ejected because they thought it was a hit from behind?

EDIT: It was charging, nevermind
