i would hope not but the way things go for this team, probably. Compare it to the hit by gauthier last game and it should not have even been a penalty.

That's gotta be frustrating. Taking a penalty that was hardly deserved by the sounds of it (though I won't take 630 CHED as an absolutely unbiased station). Oilers will be in tough for the 3rd period now. This will be a HUGE kill for them...

Anyone know what happened with Moreau. Is he injured? He only played 5:12 in the first period.

Morley mentioned that Ethan's shoulder injury appears to have flared up.

Keep the other stuff aside Eric. We have a period to win.

According to the journal prior to the Canucks game, Moreau actually has a torn pectoral muscle. How seious of an injury can that be. It also mentions it'll remain with him for the remainder of the season. It sounds like it's more of a football injury. Players in the NFL have undergone season-ending surgery for the same injury. Need help on that, Lowetide.

Nice goal by York, but this team has to start playing with fire before they're at death's door. God.

WELL THIS REALLY TAKES THE LUSTRE OF LAST NIGHTS BLOW OUT!!!

You are right LT. Why desperation only when walking the plank?

Sutter can get his boys to play 60 minutes. MacT can't.....but apparently THAT'S NOT HIS FAULT!

Question: Why the hell is MacTavish playing Bergeron and Semenov when the Oilers are desperate for a goal? I mean, Semenov is terrible. He's constantly bobbling the puck and he's always out of position.

I don't know if he's been like that in other games, but he was terrible tonight.

Tommy looked great. Too bad the rest of the team let him down.

Laraque Is it just me or does he look not as dominant on the boards. I mean, if Lowe and MacT won't make any callups from the farm, I'd want to see Chimera in there instead. At least he brings a bit of speed with him.

i dont really know what to say.. except that going into the third this felt like a tie... that somehow we were going to tie this one up.

this definetaly tarnishes what happened last nite, no matter how good calgary thinks they are currently.

should we all be back to heckling for a major shakeup like we were before the vancouver game? .. i dont know.

on a plus side, Salo definetaly seems to be heading in the right direction.

Well, we have to give Calgary their due, fine hockey club and good for them and their fans. My father in law is a Flame fan, and it's been a terrible run, so good on them.

However, this team is in a rut they need every point they can get, and they can't afford to let solid goaltending go unrewarded.

York and Isbister were mentioned alot, but lots of Oiler forwards didn't get much mention.

More accurately, you were saved the danger of Smith doing something stupid, like taking 17 minutes in penalties in a must win game...

Really kinda odd game, No team really 'dominated' I think, I mean I guess Calgary could be said to have in the first two periods, but it just didn't seem like it, but it sure didn't seem like anything, I just don't know. Good to take out a win, finally the Flames quit giving up massive amounts of shots like they had been later, which is a good sign. York keeps impressing, maybe the game breaker argument made the difference tonight, Iginla just seemed to score when the Flames needed it.
