Who's Souray Now?

A Sportsnet article....suggesting Souray be considered for Team Canada at next year's World Cup.

"Finally healthy, Sheldon Souray is proving naysayers wrong and should be a strong candidate to play for Canada at the World Cup."

"Souray has responded so well that he has to be a shoo-in for the all-star game. He hits, he clears the front of the net, makes a decent first pass and he has a dozen goals, including three in one game. He makes his defence partner better and he knows how to play in front of an excellent goaltender, which Canada will surely be blessed with in September."

Last year, they forgot Markov in the All Star game. Heck they even forgot him in the young stars game.

Souray should go with Theodore as well.

East Goalies:
Brodeur
Belfour
Theodore

koivu would be a candidate if it wasn't for his injury. He already has 19 pts.

Lalime, or Luongo will go rather than Belfour.

Lalime sucks in Ottawa and Luongo won't get nominated until he has a team in the top 8...that's just how it works.

Luongo is 4th in the NHL with a .931 Save Percentage, playing on a sloppy team in Florida.

Lalime is normally among the top 5 in the goaltending department, so I'm not sure where you get the whole "sucks" thing. His 12 wins so far this season puts him just one shy of Theo, with 4 games less played.

Belfour is 40, he'll never see another Team Canada, unless it is as a spectator.
