the giggy's back up

who will be the Giguere's back up? Is it sure that Bryzgalov'll go in another team according you?

Caron goes to Switzerland and Levasseur isnt' yet ready. Will Jonas Hiller be the backup for sure?

What your opinions?

Anaheim has Giguere, Bryzgalov, Caron, Hiller, McKee, Coleman, LeVasseur

Giguere - Signed Ducks #1 goalie

Bryzgalov - Has a year left on his deal, will most likely traded.

Caron - Signed in Europe, but the Ducks still own his rights because he's an RFA....He could be brought back.

Hiller - Expected to be #1 goaltender in Portland, but will get a chance to make Anaheim.

McKee - Expected to play in Portland

Coleman and Levasseur - Will be in Augusta.

The Ducks are looking at Esche, MacDonald and Weeks as a possible back-up should they trade Bryzgalov.

He's got great potential, but he's still really young. Playing time is what he needs, and playing 20 games would likely really hurt his growth.

LeVasseur has a bright future with the Ducks....He's actually looked at as the future #1 of the club and Giguere's sucessor....Now he'll have four years to develop his pro game.

Bruins fan here i come in peace, But yes The Ducks are going to talk to Joey Mac, on July 1st if the bruins do not sign or move on him is the word, the ducks wanted MacDonald off waviers, but Bruins were lower seed, thats what joey was told that the ducks are goin to try and sign a multi year one way deal i guess about 700k

I've heard that the Ducks have already been speaking to his agent and they are working on a deal in advance of 7/1/07, but the Ducks are also speaking Esche and Weeks agents as well.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if they get MacDonald and he's the backup to Giguere in Anaheim.
