I like some of his stuff, but found myself agreeing less with his analysis of stuff. The writing of the aforementioned article bothers me this time as well.
I think Rodent doesn't know how to deal with a good team. He needs to "stir the pot". When there's something to ***** about, he's good. When there's not, he makes a reach. Then he either comes of as (at best) nit-picky or (at worst) deluded, and in either case, irrelevant. It's kinda sad because I used to really like his columns.
i guess. i just abhor that personality. shes beautiful and all, and it was a funny interview, but hearing her talk like that....
Agreed -- not trying to be argumentative, just saying I think it's one of the rare cases where it works to her (well, our) advantage. Plus I'm pretty sure Ovechkin is hitting on her, which just adds to the comedy.
No. 1 draft pick Alexei Cherepanov, also in attendance this week at the Development Camp, is scheduled to return to Russia on July 10 for training camp with Omsk in the Russian Elite League, where he's set to play at least one more season.
Cherepanov, 18, indicated that he doesn't feel physically ready to compete in North American-style hockey yet, but he doesn't have any trepidation about being a top draft pick coming to a big-city organization.
"There is no intimidation," Cherepanov said through an interpreter. "It's great now to be part of the Rangers, and a huge responsibility on my shoulders now."
