I love Fortier, I think he's gonna be better than Veilleux. If he can become another Antoine Vermette, we're gonna have quite a steal

I am so excited that McDonagh, Pacioretty and Subban are Habs. I have been gunning for them the last month or so. Fortier looks pretty good too, maybe he'll be another Vermette. Yannick Weber, judging by his stats, is not bad either. We seem to have a fetish for Swiss players. Conboy and Stejskal meanwhile I'm not sure, I dont know anything about them really. Torp I've been reading stuff about, but he hasnt really won me over. On the other hand, even though I know nothing about him, I think we shouldnt have picked Kishel. We couldve used it on Skokan, who went right after we picked, or Mike Biega, Eric Doyle or Juraj Valach, all of whom were not drafted.

Next year, let's just draft Big Centermen. Then, we'll have great depth in each of our positions

We say that every year, better forget about it. Timmins doesn't know the definition of big center.

We'll have 12 Dmen converted to forwards and 6 Dmen not converted on the team. ... and 2 goalies.

BTW, Subban appears to be a black guy.
excellent analysis lol

I just have this weird feeling that when everything is said and done.. Conboy could be a real steal.

I agree, although I never heard fo the guy until the Habs drafted him, but I don't think it was a "shot in the dark" by any means. Kid has good size and apparently skates well. Looks like big fast wingers are pretty high on Timmins list of preferences. I can't really say I'm excited about the Conboy and Stejskal picks, but I am intrigued. Of course, they may turn out to be nothing, but Timmins does tend to find hidden gems in the later rounds. One or both of these guys could be among them. I'll be interested in how they develop.

I don't know 'em. Can't talk about them. I'm happy we didn't take Esposito or Cherepanov, I'm dissapointed we didn't pick Eller, and that the Habs didn't make a move to show some life.

That's it.
haha kind of funny.

I know guys, we've all said bad things on this board on several occasions...

But this thread is...just...gold. I'm almost crying because how fantastic it is to read all these quotes at the beggining of this thread.
