Lowe got hosed so bad on that trade the Oil Koolaid Wagon thinks it was good. You let go a permanent 30-40 goal scorer for a defenseman who might make the team in 2005.

Yeah, because we all know how willing Comrie was to sign here. And we all know that Lowe put in zero effort to get someone NOW for him.

lol, we let go a "permanent 30-40 goal scorer".
Well, seeing as he's only scored 30 once, I'd hardly consider him a permanent 30 goal scorer. And Woywitka will challenge for a spot on defense for next season. Big difference between "might make the team in 2005".

Still the dork avatar champion of the world, too, eh?

Bob MacKenzie said that Woywitka might be called up during the season. You never know with the way the team is suffering injuries the last couple of season, that's a distinct possibility.

Just a question, Guy. How serious are Cross and Moreau's injuries if you know.

I don't know for certain but I've heard that Moreau's will nag him for the season unless he rests it but it shouldn't really hamper his play.

Cross, tough to guess with back spasms. Could be a game or two or a week or two.

I'm no doctor though. If I hear something definite I'll post it.

Guy, on the notes on the bottom of TSN, they mentioned that Cross was scratched with back spasms and an injured hip. Can you update on that.

He just said (and you quoted) that he doesn't know anything more, and will post if he does.

Comrie looks weird in a Flyers uniform. Why couldn't he just have gotten over it and played for us?

How many threads were there for every goal he scored vs dallas in the playoffs last year. He's a ***** and I hope the worst for the rest of his career.

I'll go to bloody oilfans.

The second post in this thread kills me.

The thread starter says: Philly goal scored by # 89 MIKE COMRIE !!!

The second poster in the thread says: Mike scored his first of the year against dallas tonight

Like we couldn't understand what the thread starter was talking about or something.

Like I frikkin needed to hear it twice or something.....

Oh!.......my apologies oh_canuck.

That's confusing. Especially when you don't tell people.

A mod at metro-boards started doing that. It started to cause a bit of problems and started pissing posters off. He got a bit outta hand with it. He started to "over moderate".

Alot of times in these cases (where 2 posters post something at the same time) one usually just deletes his if his "time stamp" is later than the other posters.

In other words, alot of times things on these boards........just take care of themselves.

Um, Dan Cleary scored his first goal of the season last night too.

Should I have started a new thread for that?

Now THAT'S breaking news!

That will go nicely with his 2 assists. Who was the poster that said the Oilers will regret it when Clearys playing somewhere else?

1 goal and 2 assists in 23 games.
