i think the rangers had the rights for him but im not sure if he every played a single game

Yeah, there are certain, guys if you saw on the street, you would never guess they were professional athletes. Tim Sweeney, definintly seemed to be one of those guys.

Yup, Roman Ndur played in the late nineties. He was pretty bad if I recall. I think he might still play in the ECHL, as nothing but a goon.

well quite a bunch.
without really looking into it:
grant fuhr,fred brathwaite,jarome iginla,peter worell (he played for hartford though i believe and is still down in charlotte?),georges laraque.. not that it matters but im sure there are way more



edit: Andreas Lilja also never played a single game for us

That wasn't Stevens. That was Joe Murphy. He was a training camp invite towards the end of his career. He never actually played for the Rangers because he left in the middle of training camp to sign with another team. Then he accuses Neil Smith of cutting his sticks in half and throwing one of his skates in the East River.
