New intereview with Gomez. The highlights:

- Feels the Rangers are a team that is ready to win.

- Over the past season, he's seen a different Ranger team. Well balanced and starting to "get things rolling."

- Mentioned that coaching staff was a reason he chose the Rangers.

- Wanted to play for an original six team.

- Mentions that 1994 was probably the best year for hockey.

- Mentions Leetch was one of his all-time favorite players.

- Rooted for the Rangers in 94 because "everyone loved Messier" and Leetch and Richter

- Mentioned he was a Messier fan.

- He's ready to get booed in NJ.

- Excited to have the NY fans support him.

- Ready to help young guys coming up through the system.

Oh, stop..... they are all going to say a bunch of positive things. It is the company lines. No one will say "oh this team sucks" or "we, devils, beat them up all the time"

Not sure what this has to do with anything.

If the team sucks he wouldn't have signed here.

And the Devils did beat them up. That needs to be said?

dude, he didn't have to come here. he had plenty of offers on the table. while the money is nice i'm pretty sure he chose the Rangers for many of the reasons he stated in the interview.
