I always buy my jerseys (replica customized) at Cosby's. granted its a bit pricy, and the wait sucks, but its a good quality jersey. I see lots of questionable jerseys walking around the garden with shoddy looking numbers and the entire name being on one whole iron-on patch, if im investing in a jersey, i want it to look good.

great timing for this, cause I'm debating what jersey to buy for this season. my closet currently consists of a leetch (old style white), messier (3rd blue) and a richter and lundqvist (both "home" blue) whatever jersey I'm getting is gonna be white for variety, really want a Callahan or Girardi, but am thinking of breaking my "never get a jersey of a big FA signing" for Drury...thoughts, probably gonna buckle down and put in the deposit tomorrow since it will be at least until opening night for it to be ready

Quick question for you guys. I just got a Shanahan replica white jersey and I want put the alternate captain's "A" on it. Does anyone know a place that would do that for me? I bet Cosby's would, I'm just curious what it would cost since I'm not asking for a full customization job.

I guess I'd be assuming he's sticking with #43, but damm thats a good idea but then I'm waiting until mid/late september to put in the order. gonna go replica, its all the same for me for wearing purposes and its usually a good $100 less or so?

I got it at Modell's so it didn't come with an A. Usually replicas don't unless you order them online. The only exception was Jagr. All his jerseys came with the C.

In any event, my question still stands. Does anyone know a place where I can get an A stiched (or pressed) on? I'm thinking about stopping by Cosby's tomorrow to make an inquiry.

I got a white authentic with the 75th anniversary patch on it. Size 52. I never wear it because I don't know how I deluded myself into thinking that it'd ever fit. If you or anyone else want, PM me and we can negotiate a price.

Wayyyyy too big. It was my birthday and an impulse buy. Well not really impulse, but they only had a 52 left. I wore it to a couple of games that season but realized it's just too damn big. Beautiful jersey though. The quality's amazing on an authentic compared to a replica.

Yup, replicas suck. Wouldn't wear one to the Garden for free. I wish I could find a size 46 or 48 somewhere...I'm looking for a home blue. Nobody seems to have any in stock.

Well I have the Liberty and Blue, both replicas made by starter. Those are pretty good, IMO. It's not as bad as the CCM/Koho replicas from recent. The one year they had Pro Player, those were really good replicas as well.

You have to remember that the authentics are cut differently from the replicas. The authentics are cut way bigger, especially in the sleeves. So your XXL replica would be smaller than an authentic 52, which is actually XXL, not XL. The sizing (at least used to be) 44 (L), 48 (XL), 52 (XXL). Ever since Reebok took over, I think the smallest they start with is 46. I have both my replicas in XL and they're significantly smaller than my authentic 48 (XL) that I have.

oo boy im about 5'11 and skinny as well, so i think the 52 is going to be big, but the jagr jersey i have is too short so will see, i usually where a sweater underneath or a sweathshrt when i go to games so that will take up some of the slack anyway

Yeah man, I guess it depends how you wear em. Even my 48 is a little too long for my tastes, but a hoodie makes a big difference and fills out a little.
