Dirty Dougie

what was the deal with Doug Weight's elbow on Gagne?

I don't remember Dougie being that dirty when he was an Oiler, or maybe I was just blind to it.

He deserves at least 2 games for that.

which hit was worse:
Savard on Koivu
or
Weight on Gagne

thoughts?

Dougie has always played with an edge... but he seems really angry lately.

And thats when he plays his best. And I must say, if a Canadian team doesn't win the cup this year, I sure hope it's the Blues as Weight is still one of my favourite players of all time, and I'd love to see him get a hold of ol Stanley.

we just need either A) Blues to pay 60% of his remaining contract, or B) Doug Weight to re-negotiate his contract, so he's only making 3 mil/year.

neither of which are gonna happen..although I would love to see Dougie back in Edmonton..he's had his best days here, along with Billy Guerin. they both had their best days as an Oiler.

Did you seriously say that Guerin had his best days in Edmonton? You must be joking. Guerin floated around and in my opinion did'nt want to be here. Then after he left he became a 40+ scorer, All-star, fastest skater and so on. Plain and simple he was a lazy 30 goal man here and became a bonifide 40 goal STAR after he left.

He didn't score 6 goals in a single playoff series for the Bruins or Stars - now did he?

That Colorado-Edmonton series prompted me to buy a #9 jersey at game 6. Still remember Berehowsky and Mironov scoring in 2-0 victory.

Reminds me we need game breakers on this team. NOW!
