Agreed.

I am a peanut fan, and I loved the smell of the boiled peanuts, so I had to try them. And I quickly came to the conclusion that I will never try them again. Not for me, I can't stand them. I'll just go have a Cuban Sandwich instead...too bad I can't find any in Tallahassee. It's definitely a thing I miss about Miami.

To add to the topic of Southern Cuisine:

Boiled Peanuts: Love them.
Okra: You can have mine.
Cornbread: If you put sugar in it, you must die!
Grits: If you put sugar in them, you must die!
Fried Green Tomatoes: Not big on tomatoes period other than for pasta sauce, ketchup/catsup, chili, and chili sauce.

I've actually seen deep fried peanuts still in the shell. That may seem odd to some folks, but considering some folks eat the entire peanut when they eat boiled peanuts, it's not all that odd to some.

But when it comes to deep fried junk food, Twinkies, Oreos, and Snickers bars rule. The ultimate drunk food (take that Taco Bell and Krystal). The problem is that you better be done drinking when you have them, as it's close to impossible to resume drinking after eating them.

I had no idea what "sweet tea" was when I first came here.

I like it though, have it every week at least once. It's great this time of year.

True story, I went to MGM at Disney about a year ago. We ended up eating at a restaurant called the 50's Prime time cafe. If you have never been, the waiters and waitresses are also actors. They will literally yell at you or embarrass you (I wont get into the incident that resulted in me singing in front of a room full of strangers, my counseling is almost complete though) if you are not using table manners or put your elbows on the table. Its alot of fun for people who don't know this going into it. Anyway, I kept needing my sweet tea refilled, so after like the 3rd time of asking, our waiter says he will be right back. He comes back with the pitcher of sweet tea, puts it in front of me, and puts my straw in it. That just cracked me up. So I drank from that the rest of the dinner. When we were getting up to leave, I had my back to where I was sitting, and someone came over and refilled out of that pitcher. That was nasty.

I remember walking into a McDonald's in Pittsfield, MA and ordering iced tea. They told me that they didn't serve that until summer. I repled that it was March and that summer had nothing to do with having iced tea available. I guess them northern folk like their tea hot.

Just ESPN. Chris Berman does it, this is one of his best things he does all year.

That is one thing we can agree on. I may dislike the Yankees but I despise the Red Sox.

If I ever were to kill somebody I think Fried Oreo's would be part of my last meal.

OT: Going to Clearwater in 2 days... What should I expect?

I guess Clearwater is close to Tampa Bay? Am I right about that? Anyways what should I expect? Are the beaches nice? Anything to look out for?

Learn the Sting ray shuffle, or your vacation will be spent in the ER if you go into the water.
