by the way, I'm 18 now. hahah just so you know how long ago I'm talking about.
I am 30 will be 31 in a month
I just remebered that I got that Semisonic CD for my 20th birthday and was exited because I was just 1 year from being 21 and being able to go out to bars. (at that point of my life i was starting to hang out with friends that were older than me and i couldnt go to bars yet, so that song was almost like a yearning that in a year i would)

I, as well as most people, thought that song is about "closing time" at a bar, because he says "one last call for alcohol, so finish your whiskey or beer".
but I remember hearing on the radio later on that it was about actually being born because of one line:
"This room won't be open till your brothers or sisters come" (future siblings out of the womb)/

See, and you thought it was about getting drunk......and having to leave a watering hole.

GOB and TOB: you both did an excellent job. I love seeing Isles tributes since there are very few of them, and most of those few are garbage but I really enjoyed these two. GOB, the WWE voiceover is kinda funny but it actually works very well with the video.

Question: What's the best way to go about making a video like that? I've always wanted to make a tribute but haven't had the slightest idea on how to get started. Do you need some sort of application? Thanks in advance for any input.

Thanks Blink!

And the first thing I do when I'm going to start making a video is pretty much getting way too many clips so I have a lot to work with when I'm editing. The way I go about doing this is Download Manager for Firefox. Then I can just go to Islanders TV and take goal highlights, save highlights, anything....from individual games.

Then I use Windows Movie Maker (because I'm too lazy to charge my laptop and use vegas .

If you need more help let me know!

the only thing funnier than the decline in witts game is witt surfing...its just sad. Apparently he cant blame spending too much time in the water for his diminishing skillset.

Would make a good/VERY good 2nd pairing defender IMO. Not his fault the Islanders lack any sort of depth at the position.

Thanks for that. There's a few videos out there of Witter goofing off. Another is him in practice yelling "I OWNED YOU" before breaking into The Muffin Man. If we still had sigs, I'd definitely quote that bit of him going crazy in the closet.

Another awesome video!! Love all the shots of the coliseum filled up and the die hards going crazy. I hope I can make my way over there to see a game one day.
