Hillier. The kid is a scorer and I'd bank on 40 goals this season in Juniors. He's got solid potential.

Gotta go with the 2nd round goalie at this point. (With my faith in Benoit Allaire I have a feeling I'll be voting for this kid a lot higher next time we do this.)

Add Campell. We need someone named Max.

I'm probably wrong to do so, but I voted for the Specimen. If he makes it (big if) he could make it big.

Nich has a point: 25 was plenty two years ago, but these days, we have far more prospects with NHL potential. The list should be longer.

With the depth we have now, I wouldn't be opposed to that.

Hugh have atleast improved his last 3 seasons, no reason to expect him to stop.

If someone keeps threatening him right the next 3 years I wouldnt be suprised if he ends up somewhere in the NHL.

Beeing that big is always a huge plus.

being big dont mean anything if u dont use ur size. Jeff Toms is big, Marek Malik is big, heck Tom Poti is big. Prucha is one of the smallest players and plays big, same with Callahan. Size dont matter if u dont have the heart.

How did Hugh improve his last three seasons? 04-05 he played just 12 games in college and sucked even then (injury or not). 05-06, he sucked in Hartford and was not even a point-a-game player in the ECHL. Last season, he sucked in Hartford (invisible most nights, canceling out his few good games) and was barely a point-a-game in the ECHL.

He may have gotten better using his body and being more aggressive, but the results are still sorely lacking. Marginally improving his game one season (from what I've both seen and read) hardly qualifies as getting better the last three season ...

im shocked immo had dropped so far... is it cuz he's 25, or cuz he has no future in the team? this guy could be a solid 3rd line center i think on most nhl squads right now. going with hugh, looking for a big year in the final one of his elc, or you can expect slats to cut ties with his d-bagger wonderchild.
