Just seems a little odd to me that on opening night and in the playoffs, they have "Orange Crush" promotions...but won't continue orange jerseys (at least for now).

I agree. My first preference is still orange, but if they stick with black, they need alot more orange in the shoulders, numbers, striping, etc. The current black uniforms are too dull.

I may be in the minority but i don't mind the black too much....we all know as soon as we can have third jerseys, we'll have our orange...Also, I personally hope that the jersey is mostly one color, in that we get rid of that white/orange stripe across the soulder or down the arms. The last two jerseys done up in photoshop here wouldn't bother me at all...

Edit: Any of these would be alright with me, minus the number on the front:






The last one is the best, but if they go that way I'd like to see the font/number style updated too.

My issue with the black jersey is that it's a black and white jersey with the tiniest bit of orange trim.

Those concepts above with a fair amount of orange in them are much better than the pre-2007 black jerseys. Those, I can live with.

I also wonder just how 'modern' they'll go with the new look.

Yeah, agreed. They should have that "flying F" on the shoulders instead of the original logo again, though. And use the orange jerseys as thirds. Oh, and definitely white gloves for the home unis. I'd be content.

i kinda like those. the top one really is a nod to the classic orange shouldered shirts we've been wearing. i wouldnt say no to that, but it might be too similar for management to go with.

those are the same practice jerseys they have been using for a few years now... ever since Reebok took over.
