I plan on being there Tuesday through Thursday, and maybe Monday as well if I can get off of work. For some reason I remember them having more players last year, but I could be wrong.

Really looking forward to seeing Lindgren, Neal, and Niskanen.

I'll be there, at least when I can get away from the grind.

I assume anyone that's on a ELC or not yet signed is eligible, so that would make Vadim not eligible, besides I don't really see any reason he would go to it.

Oh yeah, I noticed no Vomela so looks like they cut ties with him.

Last year they had about 15 more players.

Yeah, especially on Niskanen and Sacchetti. Wouldn't mind them on McKnight, Sertich(see how much he's improved) and Bachman.

I also realized that Warn's not attending, there's a couple reasons for that, he could be getting some rest before HIFK's training camp Starts(not sure when exactly it does) or he's still resting from another injury(don't think so.)

I'm glad to see Justin Soryal get a shot. His first two years in the OHL he was mainly used a grinder/checker type, but this season he really broke out because of the graduation of the Petes' top players. Not sure if he has NHL potential but good to see a guy like him get a rewarded with a look.

Well, it's going to be hard for him to even crack Iowa.

Good for Ben Van Lare. He added a different element to the Buccaneers after joining the team in 2005-06. There aren't a lot of players like him in the USHL. He's an energy player whose theme song should be Metallica's "Seek and Destroy." When they had both him and Donnie Hallmark... He has pretty good speed, forechecks hard, body checks as hard, will throw down, and does have some offense to him. I know his WHL stats look horrid, and at first glance his USHL stats don't look that great either, but his stick skills are certainly acceptable.

While I doubt Van Lare will end up with the Dallas organization, I do hope that this can translate to opportunities for him in say the Central Hockey League. Maybe with a Texas team, even (Brahmas maybe?).

Also, Szczechura should be signed. Unless he tanks it at this developmental camp, and I assume he'll be at training camp, too... Szczechura adjusted to the AHL quite quickly and very well. He's a good all-around hockey player.
