Marshall, Jung and Courtnall to TB for ?.

Matt Marshall, RW - Will spend another year at Nobles.

Torrie Jung, G - Will spend another year with Kelowna, possibly as the starter.

Justin Courtnall, LW - Still uncommitted?

For TB's 4th round in 2008. I think this was a great deal for the bolts esp. since they apparently wanted Marshall from the get go for his speed. Jung was on a horrible Kelowna team last year and will likely be the starter. Courtnall has at the least good genes.
Ottawa says that they'll use the pick to move up in next year's draft.

I think the players they picked will be well worth the gamble.....

Say what you want about Feaster but he and his scouts have always done well late in the draft when other teams have given up, for example the 2002 draft.

I'd rather give up a mid-late draft pick to get multiple picks. These guys in the 4th-7th rounds are hardly sure things anyway so I'd rather have the team get more picks in the later rounds to find some diamonds in the rough. Like Patrick said, Feaster did this in 2002 and found some steals. The Lightning scouts seem to do a better job of finding NHL players in the later rounds than they do with the 1st and 2nd round picks.

I agree. There were some gems in 2002, too bad Norrena isn't around....
