I'd like to see us play our first game of the season before seeing visions of sugarplum fairies in my head. Silly thread.

Come on guys lighten up... This is just for fun... He didn't say "We're going to win the cup"... He's simply asking a hypothetical and wanting to know what you would do if we did...

I don't have a problem with this thread whatsoever...

Let the fans of other teams think what they want... This is our board and our team!

By the time the Rangers went into the seventh game against Vancouver in 94 I was a wreck. The Rangers had just blown games 5 and 6 and to be quite honest about it I was at the point where I could not watch. I wandered around the local mall for a while. We finally went home and I turned on the last 15 minutes. We were ahead 3-1. Then it was 3-2. And I remember Lafayette hitting the post and that stupid a*s linesman--blowing two icing calls in the last minute--and then finally glory after 20 some years--for me. That whole playoff run was a roller coaster ride and not an especially fun ride either. Of course that Cup came with the curse attached--the next one whenever that is-won't. As for the question of what I'll do when and if it happens again---I won't sleep a lot that night--but I'll be very very happy.

This is what I will do:

First if we do it while we are home, I will hug every single person around me in the Garden crowd, then I will party outside MSG until 3 AM like in '94. I will then walk around the CITY proudly with my jersey on yelling and screaming WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!!!!!

I will then proceed to cry like a *****....because I was only 4 when we won, and I've been waiting for a Cup of my own. Then the next day or so go to the PARADE and soak it all up!

RANGERS IN 07-08!!!!

What will you do on that June Night?
im sure i will have a party at my place every night of the finals at least, so there will be alot of alcohol already consumed, so ill keep consuming it out of pure joy and hug everyone around because it will be so worth it after all those garbage years in the late 90's early 00's. we needs it. its our time

You think you'll still be able to party to 3AM when you're a senior citizen?

(Sorry guys... I tried to resist, but I couldn't).

we'll it'll probably be a school night when they win it (if its during the week) and i will be sleeping through classes the next day, because i'll be screaming my head off all night! I'll be throwing my own party at my house! and i'll make my friends celebrate the next day, and i'll hang a huge sign on my locker, telling all the buffalo and devils fans in my school to shove it! IT WILL BE SO AWESOME! and i'll tell all my teachers, and everytime i go to talk to someone i'll start the conversation with "the rangers won the cup!!!!!!!!" I was only a mere 2 years old when they won the cup, thus not being able to celebrate, but when they win the cup, the partys coming!

you'd be surprised at what old people could do. I was in japan and we had these home stays, and before we left Kaga city, the old lady (94 years) ran like 3-4 miles to say good bye to some one.

As if other teams aren't already calling us cocky and over-confident, now they get to read proof of it!!

Good job!!

Don't be sorry. I was trying to think of something to say that referred to all of us being very, very old the next time the Rangers won it...but, unfortunately (or fortunately if you're a mod), I couldn't come up with something clever enough to irritate people. You beat me to it.

Well considering I would probably have no chance in hell to get tickets to the deciding game, I would:

1) Call in sick & drive down to MSG
2) Find a very close bar with the game on, and mow down a veggie burger and a few black&tans
3) When the chaos and happiness erupts outside the garden run out and be a part of it
4) Meet up with my gentlemen friends here at HF, and not call it a day until atleast the sun is up.
