What would it take?

Theres some talk in the Leafs board about a possible trade with the Oilers, sending Brewer and Smyth to the Leafs. What do you guys think it would take to see that happen?

for both Smyth and Brewer, I'd want Kaberle, Antropov and Coliacavo, Edmonton could throw in a pick or prospect if it needs to be evened out.

How about Bell or Kondratiev instead of Colaiacovo.

That's actually a pretty even trade IMO and one that the Oilers would have to think long and hard about.. Samsonov would look absolutely deadly on a line with Oates! Why are all the Bruins fans so eager to move Samsonov though?

Probably contract demands. Can we really afford what Samsonov will want in salary? When is his contract up?

We're not anxious to move him, but we need an enema. He and Boynton are two guys that would bring back a decent return...I think he'd look great in Edmonton with their skating and ice surface.

How about Sammy, Boynton and a pick for Smyth, Smith and Larocque?
