Two Line Offside

Why doesn't waive the NHL the 2 Line Offside?

We play in Europe without the 2 line offside! Many scouts say that without the 2 L. Offside the play is a lot more spectacular to watch!

So I can't understand why the NHL doesn't waive the 2 line offside? They play would be faster, more goals, etc...

Until they adjust defensive systems to sit back even further than they do now.

I watched the BCHL (Jr.A) with and without the centre line for offside passes.....and the game is really no different without it than it was with the rule.

This is the main argument against. I'm not sure why a former coach like Pierre McGuire doesn't see this. He's a big promoter for taking out the 2 line offside pass.
In a defence-first NHL, it'll only be a matter of time before it makes no difference again.
