Honestly, I'd probably take St. Louis because he's shown he can be consistent and productive. He also isn't injured much even though he's a midget. I'm not sure whether he would produce as well on another team or with different players, if Lecavalier leaves for instance. Probably not meant to be the number one threat on a team.

On the other hand Gaborik is a much better talent and if he can string together some injury-free seasons he would put up some huge numbers. He's also 7 years younger.

Now: St. Louis
Future: Gaborik (but you're gambling on his health)

Gaborik if healthy will put up better numbers than St.Louis, he also makes players around him better, he doesnt need a guy like Vinny to rely on. I think that Gaborik will be good for 70+ games next year, and will get 50 goals.

Wow, this is pretty tough.

The sky is the limit with Gaborik, but St Louis is consistent production on a very offensive team.
Although, the Wild seems to be coming around offensively.

Tough call, coin flip?

You make a good point, but wouldn't that make St.Louis more valuable than Gaborik at the moment because he plays with Vinny? At least fantasy wise?

If the St. Louis of 2003-4 and 2006-7 shows up, then he's the safe pick. If the St. Louis of 2005-6 shows up, then it's not a good choice. St. Louis is the safer pick for a little while, but Gaborik has the chance to exceed him this year and will likely do it down the road. Tough decision.

I go with St. Louis. Gabby, although great, has proven he can't stay healthy.
MSL is a lock for 90-100 pts.
